The Charles Taylor Large Berwick Planter features an open-style design that creates a generous planting area, giving plants more space to establish strong, healthy root systems. Its clean, traditional look makes it a versatile addition to gardens, patios and outdoor seating areas.

Crafted from FSC-sourced timber and treated with a water-repellent preservative, this planter is designed for reliable outdoor use in the British climate. It can be lined with a heavy-duty refuse bag or weed membrane if required, helping to retain soil and reduce weed growth. Supplied fully assembled, the planter measures 390mm wide x 390mm deep x 380mm high, weighs 8kg and offers an approximate planting volume of 46 litres.

Product Details & Care

Your planter is supplied with one coat of a water-repellent preservative treatment. To help protect and extend the life of the timber, we recommend applying a suitable wood preservative periodically, depending on exposure and weather conditions. All compatible aftercare products are available from our online store.

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract depending on weather conditions. As a result, natural characteristics such as cracking, splitting, warping or shrinkage may occur and cannot be considered faults. Periodic checking of fixings is recommended.

Occasionally, resin may appear in the timber. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect performance. If present, it can be removed using a cloth and white spirit.
