The Charles Taylor Large Berwick Trough is designed to provide increased planting capacity with a clean, open structure that enhances both space and visual appeal. Made from premium Scandinavian Redwood, it offers a robust and attractive solution for flowers, shrubs and feature planting in gardens, patios and pathways.

An open slatted base ensures effective drainage to support healthy root systems, while the interior can be lined with a heavy-duty refuse bag or weed membrane if required. Treated with a water-repellent preservative and supplied fully assembled, this trough measures 760mm wide x 280mm deep x 300mm high, weighs 8kg and offers an approximate planting volume of 62 litres.

Product Details & Care

Your trough is supplied with one coat of a water-repellent preservative treatment. To help protect and extend the life of the timber, we recommend applying a suitable wood preservative periodically, depending on exposure and weather conditions. All compatible aftercare products are available from our online store.

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract depending on weather conditions. As a result, natural characteristics such as cracking, splitting, warping or shrinkage may occur and cannot be considered faults. Periodic checking of fixings is recommended.

Occasionally, resin may appear in the timber. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect performance. If present, it can be removed using a cloth and white spirit.
