The Charles Taylor Regular Berwick Trough combines a clean, modern open design with practical durability, making it ideal for flowers, herbs and compact planting displays. Crafted from high-quality Scandinavian Redwood, the open structure creates generous planting space while maintaining a neat, contemporary look for patios, gardens and outdoor seating areas.

A slatted base allows for excellent drainage to support healthy root growth, while the interior can be lined with a heavy-duty refuse bag or weed membrane if required. Treated with a water-repellent preservative and supplied fully assembled, this trough measures 525mm wide x 350mm deep x 305mm high, weighs 7.4kg and offers an approximate planting volume of 40 litres.

Product Details & Care

Your trough is supplied with one coat of a water-repellent preservative treatment. To help protect and extend the life of the timber, we recommend applying a suitable wood preservative periodically, depending on exposure and weather conditions. All compatible aftercare products are available from our online store.

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract depending on weather conditions. As a result, natural characteristics such as cracking, splitting, warping or shrinkage may occur and cannot be considered faults. Periodic checking of fixings is recommended.

Occasionally, resin may appear in the timber. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect performance. If present, it can be removed using a cloth and white spirit.
