The Charles Taylor Peakes Large Veg Planter is a generously sized raised planter designed to make growing herbs and vegetables easier and more comfortable. Its elevated design reduces bending and strain, making planting, tending and harvesting more accessible while creating a strong, practical feature in the garden.

Made from FSC-sourced timber and treated with a water-repellent solution, this planter is built for reliable outdoor use in the British climate. Supplied with drainage slats to promote healthy root growth, it can also be lined with a heavy-duty refuse bag or weed membrane if required. Measuring 1020mm wide x 555mm deep x 850mm high and weighing 20kg, it offers an impressive approximate planting volume of 145 litres, providing ample space for productive growing.

Product Details & Care

Your planter is supplied with one coat of a water-repellent preservative treatment. To help protect and extend the life of the timber, we recommend applying a suitable wood preservative periodically, depending on exposure and weather conditions. All compatible aftercare products are available from our online store.

Wood is a natural material and may expand or contract depending on weather conditions. As a result, natural characteristics such as cracking, splitting, warping or shrinkage may occur and cannot be considered faults. Periodic checking of fixings is recommended.

Occasionally, resin may appear in the timber. This is a natural occurrence and does not affect performance. If present, it can be removed using a cloth and white spirit.
